HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has released an update.
HSBC Holdings plc has recently executed a share buy-back, purchasing and cancelling millions of its own shares from Morgan Stanley as part of a program announced earlier in May 2024. The transactions occurred both on UK and Hong Kong stock exchanges with a total expenditure of approximately US$120.5 million. Following the buy-back, HSBC’s issued share capital will be adjusted to over 18 billion ordinary shares with voting rights.
