Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has announced the completion of a share buy-back operation, resulting in the cancellation of 4,919,816 ordinary shares at an average price of 204.1106p each. This move is part of a larger buy-back program initiated on February 21, 2024, which has seen the company repurchase over 214 million shares to date. The cancellation of these shares will leave Barclays with a total of 14,995,528,876 ordinary shares with voting rights.
