Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back 3.44 million of its own shares for cancellation, at prices ranging between 200.95p and 205.30p, with an average cost of 202.56p per share. Following this move, the company’s total issued share capital is reduced to 14.99 billion shares, all of which have voting rights. This action is part of a larger share buy-back program initiated on February 21, 2024, where Barclays has acquired over 218 million shares to date.
