Moolec Science initiated with a Buy at Roth MKM

Roth MKM initiated coverage of Moolec Science with a Buy rating and $5 price target. Moolec is one of the early pioneers within the molecular farming movement developing animal proteins for human consumption with a pipeline of alternative proteins with the potential to “dramatically reduce” its environmental footprint, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says the texturized vegetable protein market alone represents a $13B opportunity. It believes the company’s genetic equivalence to animal proteins should result in taste and texture advantages.
