Google (GOOGL) has agreed to pay News Corp (NWSA) $5M-$6M annually to develop new artificial intelligence-related content and products, The Information’s Sahil Patel reports, citing a News Corp staffer and another person close to the deal. The deal follows Google’s recent termination of another content partnership with The Wall Street Journal, resulting in layoffs at the news organization.
