Goldman wins mandate to invest $43B UPS pension, Bloomberg says

Goldman Sachs (GS) secured a $43B mandate to invest the pension fund assets of UPS (UPS), one of the largest deals of its kind, Marion Halftermeyer and Sridhar Natarajan of Bloomberg report. Goldman, which manages $325B of pension assets, is now closer to its goal of surpassing rivals which include Marsh McLennan’s (MMC) Mercer, BlackRock (BLK) and Russell Investments, in the next three to five years, according to Bloomberg.
