Singapore Airlines Ltd. (SG:C6L) has released an update.
Singapore Airlines Group has advanced its sustainability efforts by purchasing 1,000 tonnes of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from Neste, marking a first for airlines at Changi Airport. The SAF, which will be blended with conventional jet fuel and delivered in two batches in 2024, is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80%. This deal underscores Singapore’s commitment to green aviation and Neste’s position as a leading SAF supplier with the world’s largest production facility.
