Shell plc’s Q1 2024 financial results reveal a mixed performance, with income attributable to shareholders at $7.4 billion, adjusted earnings at $7.7 billion, and cash flow from operating activities at $13.3 billion. The company’s net debt decreased to $40.5 billion with a gearing of 17.7%. Shareholder distributions included share buybacks of $2.8 billion and cash dividends of $2.2 billion for the quarter.
